Why the rich CEO seme and running-away-from-loansharks- UKE is forgettable
There are more high school love ( rivalry or friends to lovers etc) than the trope mentioned above. However I can name at least 10 manhwas from memory and I'm really bad at remembering names, because they don't follow the same story line, same artstyle or circumstances. The thing about the rich ceo-poor ukes is that... I'm also joking I don't know. It's just that there are hundreds of the same plot out there. Even the artstyles are similar no kidding- the one where they only look good at one angle(the artist can't draw side face/neck/body) and the seme will always AlwAys pay off the debt at the end. Why are they obsessed with this plot? Are people in Korea always running away from debtors?
Simple answer: it's a BL y/n trope. The majority of BL is y/n when you actually begin to think about it. Of course it's just another iteration overall of a Cinderella trope but you get what I mean. 1 reply
poor/rich is a very common trope even in straight het. I think it's just a very easy trope to write and reader easily relate to it. who doesn't want some rich people sweeping us off our feet and make our lives easier.
