Is it okay to be friends?
I have two guy friends they are twins and are 1 year older then me , we have been friends for a while (5 years since childhood) but people has been saying that "isn't it weird that *my name* keeps hanging out with those two she is so such a pick me" and stuff like im only with them because of their looks and attention.which is not true. I always leave them alone and even keep my distances when they have girls with them to not cause misunderstandings ,i seriously see those two as my best friends who understands me and always will be there for me like family, so I'm I a pick me? And is it weird for being friends with two guy friends? I just wanted to ask cause I'm still quite young to understand and just wanted to ask for some future advices (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I don't think that you should stop talking to them just because other people aren't mature enough to understand that being friends with the opposite gender is not being a pick me. Being a pick me is waay different, pick me's act a certain way to gain male approval, and say that they're "not like other girls" etc. Let people say whatever they want, ...... reply
No, its not weird to be friends with two or more guys. Unless those guys have some kind of bad rep but even then it could just be rumors. I have a lot of guy friends too and its basically just like having brothers to banter and pick fights with. dont mind those people who keep saying those things, theyre either just jealous or have the mentality th...... reply
Thank you so much everyone for the advices and help, I was to scared to ask this because I thought it would have been point less, but you all are such kind people to help me so thank you , from now on I'll try to live my life without giving a heck what other people say and just be me (OuO)/ I'm so grateful thank you again reply
As someone who has been friends with guys from different grades, I don’t think it’s weird to have two guy friends or it makes someone a pick-me.
A Pick-me is someone who’s kinda fake and who puts other girls down for the attention of guys. I’m not sure how your relationship is with other girls, but if it’s ok, you’re safe!
