This is day two after breaking my right central incisor after falling on my face while drunk and im currently crying at the dentist’s restroom. They shaved it down and it looks so pointy and small and ugly and the gums are bleeding. I guess it’s setting in that I’ll never have my original tooth again and the replacement will always bother me. I asked the dental assistant about whether it would cause trouble and fall off often, she said that wouldn’t happen but i would always be conscious of it. I’m already ugly to begin with and now i have no toof.
If it makes you feel better then I don't have any row of molars on my top left side and I have several broken teeth and I also lost one of my front tooth for which I wear a single partial denture. I have also done alot of cosmetic fillings for my front teeth and I have done alot of root canal procedures aswell. At this point I'm considering wearing dentures because I have the ugliest teeth. You might think I'm orally unhygienic but no, I'm very conscious of my oral health. This all happened because of years of purging. Don't feel bad dear there are many ways you can get your broken tooth fixed just try to consult other dentists if its possible.
Im really sorry to hear that, I also have a lot of people around me with dental work done I don’t think it looks ugly or considerably noticable I was just spiralling because this is my first time experiencing I’ve never even had cavities of braces before and this is entirely my fault for drinking so much so i feel guilty about having my parents pay for it.
