What do y'all think about this website name got spread wide?
As we may have known, Batoto has been shutted down by Kakao and now Batoto users are desperate to get a reading website. Of course, there would be people who cannot gatekeep at all tell people about this website which might actually be the reason as to why Mangago is crashing down a few days ago. In my opinion, I am very disappointed in people who spread this website name since there might be a possibility of it also shutting down even though I know the dev of this website is very secretive of their identities. Not to be stingy but those actions has been an evidence that people really doesn't know how to gatekeep which leads to the downfall of the reading website. This website has loads of manga and manhwa that's already 20 years old, which means they're not accessible anywhere except here. That's all. What do y'all think about this? ╥﹏╥
If I'm honest, I'm very mad about it as someone who has been here since 2021 I was terrified when I say my list were gone, until I saw what was happening (I was too busy to read for a couple of days) and when I came back I had to login like 4 times and finished the story and realized my list was gone but still it's kinda the bato users faults for n...... 1 reply
I’m pretty upset honestly. I’ve never heard of Batoto until it shut down and always used this site, then seeing all the Batoto readers be mad and say they “have” to go back to Mangago, and now all the problems have happened after that…. just angering smh 3 reply
It is cuz of the surge of traffic from bato users, but there wasn’t much to gatekeep in the first place. Mangago has been one of the main go-to sites for more than a decade so there still would’ve been a huge amount of traffic even without people posting about it on social media.

They already tried multiple times to take this site down, I doubt it's going away. What is more likely to happen is that like in 2020/2021 when this site got attacked, they made the site unavailable for about 3 months. So it's more likely it'll unavailable for a period than disappearing, which sucks big time too but it is what it is. I'm personally...... 1 reply
Ngl I've already backed up my reading lists here just in case.
At least I'll know what mangas I lost if we go down, so I can at least try to find them again...
I used bato a bit too, and did loose some of my list there since I didn't take the site issues seriously enough to back up everything. reply
