why r yall so performative

I’ve been in the BL/GL community for awhile now and one thing that’s been bugging me is how much problems there is with the people in the community. Such as some readers purposely hating on other BL readers for their preferred taste.

I get not liking the depiction of R*pe and Toxic relationship in BL (like i don’t like reverse thinking for example) but one thing I don’t understand is people who actively shit on it and calling others/telling others to Kts over not like a certain type of media. I may not like a certain manhwa but you don’t see me actively participating in the comments talking about how much i hate it and telling the people who like it that they’re weird ?

I’m a SA/CSA survivor and I like reading/writing media as an outlet of what has happened to me in my past, i don’t romanticize the messed up BLs i read, i don’t romanticize my trauma whenever i write/read fan fics about such topics nor do i condone things like that IRL at ALL, and most people are like that as well.

I don’t believe fiction affects reality at all , The BL community randomly decided in 2021 they wanted to be all healthy and censored (Like weren’t we all reading killing stalking ????) at the end of the day we’re all on an illegal website made to read gay love stories LMFAO.

It’s all fiction, it’s not real so why send hate and death threats to real life people for pixels on a screen? If you don’t like what you see then just scroll
