mangas will have the fluffiest, well written, well drawn, non toxic story with a whopping 6.7 rating on here. Then you see a manhwa with conventionally "nice" art, mediocre one-of-the-fifty-thousand-already-existing-plot, toxic characters, horrible writing and they'll have a 9.2
I find that the ones that are more realistic and the characters are level headed ppl tend to hate them more for some reason guess it drags them back to the reality they’re trying to escape reply
This is so real sometimes I just ignore the ratings altogether whenever I see something interesting here. But it is a huge gamble LMAO It's either one of the best well written stories you've read that just happened to be rated by toxic porn addicts or it really is just a shitty story that deserves to be burnt in the depths of hell reply

I rate things based on how they made ME feel. Sometimes I am in the mood for something dark, sometimes when I am in a dark place in my life I need "fluffy" to keep my sanity. But I understand that "fluffy" isn't everyone's cup of tea.
And at the end of the day, who am I to judge other's preferences. I think of it that way. reply
Well fluffy and non-toxic in my case always GETS a 9.0+ rating especially manhuas. But when iread it its ass, the plot would be all over the place and the MC would change personality every 2 chapters. It's easy to digest ig, there are some really good ones BUT rare. But when the plot tends to be mature and more nuanced, the MCs being far from perfe...... reply
