No cus as much as I find Mpreg sorts of like nice but the way most couples are just straight heteronormative or however u call it. Feels straight couple. They're always called mom for no reason! Anyways I keep thinking that maybe BL would be more realistic with having kids and more queer?? I swear I never saw a BL where they do the surrogacy thing. (If u guys have recs send some). But what about y'all? Idk deep thoughts.
There'd probably just be a lot more dead sisters, wives, and parents so that the main couple or at least one of them are godparents. I feel like that's what most BL manga does when they want to write a story about a gay couple raising a kid. reply
think this is because bls come from east asia and they have a sorta blood related heritage culture and so usually the kid has to blood related to one of them somehow through mental gymnastics i.e the kid's not mine but my dead relative's trope. And surrogacy is to them how cheating, seems it's controversial and would certainly tank the bl's rating ...... reply
Honestly I don’t usually mind Mpreg when I see it in bls so I haven’t thought too much about this, but I think without it we’d just see more overseas adoption or storylines where the mc gets sole custody of a kid from divorce or death of a relative

i think surrogacy are not a thing for now.... maybe when some authors want to apply that idea to their stories (in the future). as you know if you are an artist as a living a flop stories are not the one makes you fed so it's a risks when making a manga/manhwa that are not known or cost controversial.
