It's the authors poorly disguised fetish. I've seen so many that have incest, gore, necrophilia, scat, child corn and grooming where the authors just slap on dark romance titles. don’t get me wrong i 100% agree with all of you. but dark romance IS about taboo subjects as such, even if the “romance” is… questionable. obv not all the time but it is an element of the genre, that’s why it’s ‘dark’. that’s all i wanted to correct lol 1 reply
