Not sure if it fits the description but i absolutely LOVE Agatha Christie. Not only is she one of the best (imo the best) crime authors out there, but she is also quite the personality.
In some of her works, there is a character named Mrs Oliver who represents Agatha. Via her we get to know a lot about Christie as a person. Man would we be good f...... reply
