My college has anonymous forums so a lot of shit talkers there abt their friends and damn they get brutal, or that ngl link sometimes used for ppl to shit talk you. Anyways I have trust issues with people, what I guess kinda do is sometimes give them fake information and see what they do with it. Overtime if they do nothing, like idk keep it secret or something good then they kinda pass the test for me. Then I know then I can be comfy at least since I tend to overshare. I'm too talkative to people. Too sometimes open abt my feelings and problems which gives me problems in the end if people end up yk just using those sht against me. It's happened, like few times cus Holy shit is highschool a toxic era and college is just extra that. Anyways if they use it against me then I know who to pinpoint. Who to be angry at. To end things with. It's probably not healthy but it's a way for me to Ig cope or deal with things.
