Is it just me ?
Like i used to read straight manhwa and manga but got into bl 2 years ago and now somehow i don't enjoy reading straight manhwa i used to love 2 years ago somehow like is it just me?
no it was immediately wraps once i read my first bl, my fate was sealed and i knew i had to read bl and gl for the rest of my life to repay the time lost where i didnt have yaoiyuri in my life reply
I've read a reason in a random comment about heated rivalry. As they said, people, specifically women, tend to enjoy BL because there is no misogyny in it and we have the desire to relate to a love without being positioned less. Basically no women being treated miserably. 2 reply
Same with me, somehow the straight manga became unsatisfying and cliché but the bad kind of cliché, and I became extremely choosy or else I'll read a few chapters then drop it , it's impossible to like straight shoujo manga , still there's a few good straight manhwas out there reply
for me i read straight stories first cus it's all i could get but then i discovered the Yaoi and then i went ham on them to the point that my brain was rotting from of the amount of toxicity i'm really picky with choosing my BLs now reply
No, I’m pretty sure that’s the same with a lot of people too. I think a lot of people only read straight romance then got interested in reading BL later, as for me I enjoy reading straight and BL and will continue to read both
I think it’s totally fine if you prefer to read BL and not straight anymore, there is nothing wrong with people more...... reply
real asf for this. I used to read shounen and shoujo exclusively when I was 13, then started dipping my toes into BL and never looked back. thats already like wayy longer than 10 years ago now. once you get a taste for yaoiyuri you can never look back. not that I particularly miss it. reply
I experienced the same exact thing!
Once i started reading yaoi , straight manhwa seemed cliché or boring tbh.
I would read a few chapters and drop it
So you're not alone reply
