Tell me something good that happened to you this year
I've been spiralling lately, so I want to know anything good that happened to you this year. The world is going to shit so please I need some optimism to go on.
im so happy i had the courage to get out of my house in the middle of the night, take my airpods, blast my fav music and just feel that joy, away from a suffocating family. felt fucking amazing. reply
i just started working at a pre-k school and it was during one of my student's 4th birthday when he hugged me after a month of not seeing me (i was on duty in another area), then he told me he loves me for the very first time. he initiated it on his own i've heard he cried when i stopped by to pick up some things and only hugged him for a bit befo...... reply
With kinda how shitty my life has been lately , a lot of good stuff happened and that was successfully reconciling with two of my friends I've kinda wronged before. Tho not like oh we're friends again but more of a we finally kept some things off our shoulders and I'm glad to have been forgiven and resolved things with them. Another things is my bo...... reply
A few years ago I left a friend group due to a really nasty fight. For awhile it’s been plaguing my mind every now and then.. but this year we reconciled! I also reconnected with a childhood friend of mine too reply
Dorohedoro season 2 and my Favorite Villainess Manga is going to have an anime adaptation this APRIL YIPEEEE It's been a while since I've watch anime and I'm so hyped.(although pissed that Dorohedoro is only going to have 12 episodes instead of usual 24/6 episodes back in the day and waited almost 6 years for it too) reply
Hmm I was spiraling really badly since late 2024 because of irl stuff but at the end of 2025, things started to calm down a bit and the weight on my shoulders were less suffocating so I started revisiting my hobbies and wondered why did I ever stop because ts is fun!! reply
For me it's been my health
I've had type 1 diabetes since age 11 but I wasn't as much informed about it
Nor were my parents
Slowly my health degraded but we couldn't see the signs
I take insulin
And not really in a correct way
As I finally understood with age I started thinking deep about it and followed my doctor really well this year
