Unpopular/hated series everybody hates, but you love?

Not unironically or unseriously, but that you geniunely like a lot.

Mines is "Geolson's Past (yaoi)". ((SPOILERS))

It's kinda of run of the mill Pretty-faced toxic, red flag seme x buff pushover naive poor uke, seme pays for gramps hospital bills, so they have to live together and seme pushes himself on uke.

I love it so much cuz of the constant flashback to their past lives (reincaration typa thing I love that), only the seme remembers their past relationship and tries to not make the same mistkaes.

story tackle the topic of classism in ancient joseon and present, the servant-master dynamic, and how seme doesn't see uke as his equal due his noble position. the story points out a lot of flaws of the seme and show how those flaws lead to his (mis)treatment of uke. He doesn't intentionally mistreat him, but treat him roughly cuz he unable to see uke as his equal due to their class difference and the restrictive ancient society.

even in the present, where the social stigma of two men from different classes being together is no more, seme's classism still remains. he throws money at problems and used that to force uke to stay with him.

This is my first time reading abt how classism and elitetism is being addressed in a yaoi and how that affect their dynamics, both in ancient times and present.
