what a truly marvelous night, I shall find my equilibrium in the morning
I wrote this poem a few weeks ago & it feels fitting for tonight, like my soul knew this moment was coming:
My whole body is craving Mountain Dew.
That sweet irresistible taste gliding down my throat.
I'm craving it more than anything else.
I want to drink it under the full moon,
while a gentle breeze touches my skin,
moonlight filling the ethereal green bottle,
and my heart pounding with excitement.
I can no longer suppress my desire…
I want to sink to the bottom of the bottle,
to be completely overwhelmed by that sweet taste.

Mountain Dew was originally created in the 1940s by Tennessee bottlers Barney and Ally Hartman specifically as a whiskey mixer. The name itself was 19th-century slang for "moonshine", and it was designed to blend with homemade, harsh alcohol!

My personal favorite is the Mountain Dew Original, bc the one sold in my country has a different formula than the one in the US. Here it tastes less sugary sweet and more like a refreshing citrus-soda! I hope they also adapt other flavors in the near future
