Hey. So I'm 21, currently a uni student, and living at home. I've wanted to have my own place and to live on my own since I was 15. Unfortunately, I am unable to financially support myself due to only working a part time job. Alot of my friends have already moved out on their own, and man, I feel so inferior and sort of... stuck? I feel like living in the same house as my family has not allowed me to 'find myself' or 'discover inner peace' (as cringey as that sounds, it's the only way I can think to describe it). Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? Or am I dumb to feel this way?
Hey you're not dumb for feeling that way, you're not alone, I'm with the same boat as you. It takes time, don't feel pressured just because others have already moved out. Save up first since you have already a part time job, endure things in your home, you'll get out eventually.
