asking about College
i am in my early 20s, and I'm thinking of going to college but I'm not very smart academically and i am a little shy, I'm not dumb or anything but I'm really bad at math and spelling which i hear is kind of important in college right? anyway i would like to hear if you guys have any advice. I totally recommend going into community college because it’ll help you set up goals and they should have classes to where u adjust to ur academic level depending on which school you want to attend. not in college yet but the plan ive heard is 2 years at a community college or a technical school, then transfer to a 4 year school but do 2 years instead. reply

but don't ever feel like anyone else is outright as smart as you just because of being a degree holder . .

If you set your mind to it, you can make it work.
As an old with a degree, I’d recommend thinking abt your goals first.
- what kind of job would you be happy doing in the future?
- what are your financial goals? Do you want to be able to buy a home eventually? Would you like to be in a financial position where you can travel?

Unfortunately people forget this a lot but college is still school and school is a place of learning. I'm also not good at math but I know the everyday basics and that's all you need! Unless you're studying for a field that uses advanced levels of math you don't have to stress. If you are, practice makes perfect. That's what college/school is for, ...... reply
