while making a new friend i said "omg yes its ok you can sit with me" without thinking when she asked if she could. i agreed cause im over the top when meeting new people and i like to be nice...
how do i get out of this i, dont have any issue with her i just want to be alone, that painting class is like my sacred alone time during the other greuling and exhausting classes i take and socialise in.
i have adhd that i was just recently diagnosed with if that explains anything, either way im just having a really shit time in highschool rn due to my anxiety and i would like to keep to myself.
pls just give me advice that doesnt make me sound like a bitch and doesnt look like a stupid excuse. (i would rather not mention the adhd and anxiety to her as im not familiar with her at all)

I don't see any problem with just telling her exactly as you explained it to us (that it's the time during which you like to be by yourself) with the exception that you don't mention your anxiety or ADHD at all 1 reply
Tell her that she's free to hang out with you outside of the class, but during it you would like some alone peace because you deal with personal stuff and it's the only space where you can just not talk, be alone in peace, but you would like chatting with her outside of it.

I feel like the best thing to do is to tell her you want alone time for this specific class and that if it's okay to keep talking outside of this class and maybe exchange contacts if you really wanna be friends with her...
That's what I would do if I was in your place but you should consider more options imo, idk if what i'm suggesting is rude or n...... reply
