i'm a trust fund baby and had never work for money a day in my life (grateful) so the thoughts of getting a job lowkey cringes me but i know i'm gonna have to do it anyway cus money doesn't fall from the sky i wanna know how was your first time experiencing a job? did you also overthink but then find out it was just aight? any tips and/or advice?

I was 14 and I worked 10 hours a day at a farmers market for way less than minimum wage cause I was getting paid under the table. I'm in college now and I've never not had a job since then. You get used to it. Just find yourself a nice coworker and ask them a shit load of questions 1 reply
My very first job was in a factory. I just dropped out of college and budget's really tight that time. Did interview, got in, and started working in manufacturing. It was smooth sailing at first. I’ve only had laborious outdoor jobs. My first was at a farm stand when I was 15. There was no AC, it was in the dead of summer & 90-100° out, had to do things from picking strawberries to lifting heavy shit and manning the old-ass register and helping customers. i worked part time once i was a freshman lmao and then still working as a first yr uni student doing pre med almost finsihing now too AND WHEN I TELL YOU I AM SO GLAD I STARTED WORKING EARLY I AM. i have my own condo in the city so its really pricey and i organize hsi with my money alot

First job got it at second year (which also my last year) of college working at the college cafeteria. 3-3.75 hours per shift. Most costumers are students so no difficult costumers, no penalty if you don't get caught giving shit out for free, oh yea and also no interview. give a resume, attend the zoom training and you is in. lowkey dream job I worked at gong cha and I just made bubble tea all dayyyy :) It was honestly fine like I was in a period of highschool where I wasn't too busy all the time and I didn't mind staying out after school to work
