Hot take on "non zero sum" manhwa, haewon should've unalived himself
Okay so me and gang were discussing "non zero sum" manhwa. Ofcourse we were cursing the author for writing this sick bullshit and the artist for drawing this sick bullshit and shit escalated quickly where I ended up saying "haewon should've unalived himself. Atp he is walking into that living hell all by himself like what's more nightmarish than living like a fucking rape toy. Either run or kys cus running away can't be more harder than bearing with this bullshit?" And gng got all mad at me like "how can you blame the victim over here, haeyoung is clearly manipulating him, he is traumatised and all that, you would've known if it was happening to you." And we ended up arguing. It was so clearly stated in the manhwa that haewon is aware of what's happening with him under the pretext of "this is what friend do" he is aware that he is being abused and raped constantly and that haeyoung is manipulating him yet he keeps running to him.
However, now I am starting to question myself. Were my thoughts really insensitive here? (I js thought that if I was haewon, I'd actually kms, so I'm not sure about others) What do you think?

The rapists should die here, not Haewon. Also to better understand victims, it's not that they're "unable to leave" It's that they can't. You saying that he should just 'kill himself' is so fucking heinous and the fact you don't realize it is either an identifier of your maturity or your level of privilege.
This is the reason why I always say ppl should avoid this type of works not because it's bad but because it legit desensitizes you so bad reply
