If you hate yaoi with rape plot/scene why read it anyway??
Im triggered to those people who read these stories then rant in the comment section even bash the manga itself because of rape scenarios. Then why read it in the first place? Some asks why do others tolerate it?? and say that we need to be checked up cuz there is something wrong in our brain cuz we accept such things.
Like what Ive said, if you don't like it dont read it, you can check the tags and some comments actually have warnings of rape contents and dont read it ok.. Maybe you have trauma (which im sorry to hear) or other reasons so please just avoid it.
For me, I read all sorts of yaoi, I've already read a lot of Yaois and yes I encounter rape scenarios and I read because of the STORY and not mix it up with real life situation. Duhh like wtf.
my personal problem with it is that a lot of the time these scenes are often romanticised within the story when it shouldn't be. i have no problem with authors writing about dark/heavy topics such as rape/sexual assault but, i just don't want it to be portrayed as a normal thing. like in junjou romantica, there are quite a few times where usagi just ignores misaki's protests and just has his way with the younger. i dont think scenes like that should be normalised bc thats not how a real relationship actually works.
When I start reading those mangas, I don't see any warnings of rape and once I see it I stop reading. Doesn't mean I can't still make sure that people know that rape isn't okay and people don't actually get raped with no trauma and miraculously fall in love with the rapist.

i don't think these people mean any harm to others , they just don't wan't people to start thinking rape is normal (=・ω・=)
