so this is kinda awkward but me and my group of friends just got scammed for BTS concert tickets and those scammers are from indonesia.
we didn’t buy tickets off from them, we just used their “ticketing services” bcs none of us can buy those tickets on our own due to irl jobs.
what’s gone is gone bcs ik we won’t get the money back, but two of my friends almost k word themselves bcs those are their hard earned money and idk what to do.. i wanted to help them by giving my money to them but got scolded instead bcs technically we all got scammed for about $4200 (¥670,000+) and they won’t accept my money bcs i’m literally gone half broke as well
so i’m thinking to just collecting donations by offering people something to commission or whatever just to help my friends, idc much about myself i can work overtime again or sumn to save money but i literally dk what to do to help my friends, this is the very first time that we got scammed and with a large amount of money as well…
but idk what to do or where to start…i just hope there’s any indonesian ppl out here that can help us by reporting these scammers in their country so it can at least warn people off bcs we have those scammers details.
this sucks bad bcs i’m not meeting bts anytime soon or ever and i even plan to quit uploading after getting those tickets but shits happens so i guess whatever. do hmu on dm if anyone can help me figure things out bcs i’m genuinely devastated and dk what to do atm.

You may recover the money contacting your bank, I suggest you search more about this because I don't know the process of this ticketing thing. Don't k word yourself over this, you still deserve your justice. Try looking for donation site that works on your end, ko-fi I think? Is available for a lot of people. People can donate any amount there. It's also a good site for you to offer comissions. Patreon works as well. Spread your donation site in TikTok, it doesn't hurt to ask in TikTok to help you get money. Use less tags, comment to boost your own video.

I should preface this, but I have been scammed roughly around the same amount $4000~ USD (and more lolol ૮₍ ˊᯅˋ₎ა).
I will be honest, getting scammed isn't really something I'd personally donate to. If you are getting tickets from resellers or using nonofficial platforms, there is always the risk of getting scammed, and the second you go through that process, it's simply a risk that was accepted on purchase.
Which means, on the flipside, if I were scammed, while I wouldn't admonish my friends for it, I would probably not be comfortable with setting up a gofundme/something similar, since to me, that would be for someone going without food or something similar. It's a horrible situation, for sure, but it just feels like pushing the cost of my own errors onto others, as much as it feels 'uncontrollable'.
However, that is me, and not your friends, but to the purpose of the question ꜀(^. .^꜀ )꜆੭. I would ask your friends before doing anything that drags their name into it, but if it's your own name, do whatever you want.
Since all of you got scammed, honestly, personally, sticking it out together and just checking up on each other is enough. I think spreading awareness is great as well. I don't think you need to feel particularly guilty, for while I say it is a risk that you accepted, everywhere in your friend group agreed.
No one is looking out for your own finances, and frankly, if you friend came and scammed you in some investment fraud, the friend is horrible for scamming, but there is an individual responsibility. Which means, your friends have an equal responsibility for their own finances, therefore, it really isn't that much of 'your fault' to the point you owe them money.
This is sort of the same reason why gofundme/donations feel 'wrong' in this case. Unless one of you literally cannot make rent/food cost, I would just stick together, it's enough.
Regardless, it's a horrible situation, but money also can grow over time, so I wouldn't look too down about it and just see it as a 'bad experience'... (づ￣ ³￣)づ I hope you earn it back soon though.

i feel so bad for yall, this shit hurts on so many levels plus im an army too... scammers r literally the worst how many ppl have they scammed? if it's mass reported there's a slim (but there) chance to get the money back i believe a national fraud portal has also been launched in indonesia.. yall could try reporting it there two options are commission and fundraiser like u mentioned be careful if u choose to do a commission cause the probability of getting scammed is there too if gofundme doesnt work you could try givebutter or zeffy or any donation site that operates where u live working parttime / overtime is also an option but please make sure to take care of yourselves.. could you share the link of the video when u post it? ppl here could share it around for reach

they deleted everything, even their numbers are being discarded/inactive rn :(( plus i found them on mercari a few months ago (their acc was deleted as well) and bought stuff from them, everything’s fine.
that’s why i’m shaken by the thought that they bailed on me now after seeing the large amount of money ig. i didn’t know that we’ll get scammed after we literally have dealt with them smoothly before
i need a contact with indonesia ppl so they can directly report these scammers to the police in their country if it’s possible bcs there’s nothing that police in my country can do bcs we did an international transaction. at the very least i want indonesian people to be aware of those scammers ㅠㅠ
