Like I don't know but everytime I open social media there's always news about how it is going become something so big now one can control it anymore jobs will be replaced and most of all we die with not have enough water to drink all bcs of these rich people's fantasys

And i trust mathematicians cause they also predict a lot of things and mostly they are true (the fifa winners for eg)

Not trying to fear mongering but GENERATIVE ai is scary, I've seen some cases where they try to present fake ai evidence. Actually the way misinformation is spreading more rapidly due to ai is what's scary, people get the wrong info and shit like not long ago with the white woman had an ai video of her "running" Over the cop was spread around and s...... reply
the inherent problem with ai is with the enormous cost it needs just to keep running when those costs could be redirected into better things instead. even then, they overuse a fuck ton of shit.

i'm more concerned abt misinformation being spread around using ai "authority figures" (doctors, researchers, journalists, investment consultants etc etc). recently, i saw my mom watching clean beauty slop shorts and when i pointed out that it was ai (bc doctors recommending "natural" stuff feels more legit, we have enough grifter doctors and natur...... reply
Ai does have a negative effect on our planet but i really doubt you and anyone else alive now will live to see a point where ai completely destroys everything lol.. also social media uses ai not generative but it uses ai which does waste water and with all the people on social media its easily the same as generative ai waste 1 reply
