I love my parents but they're so unbelievably narrow minded they act like being gay is a disease and I fucking hate that, as someone who's bisexual and honestly prefers dating women over men it just makes me so upset that they think that way even if I wasn't bi it's still fucked up to even have that mentality
maybe that’s a hot take, but i don’t understand why people stay in contact with their parents, when they have the worst opinions ever. i don’t understand the concept of family, so that must be why, but really, i be going no contact with anyone, my parents aren’t an exception.

introduced my parents to my trans friend once and it did nawt go well, im probably never gonna come out to my parents, i want to so bad though so i dont feel so anxious when dating women, when I had my first gf she spoiled me with flowers and gifts and my parents were like "wow you have such awesome friends" like yeah sure... 1 reply
