I love my parents but they're so unbelievably narrow minded they act like being gay is a disease and I fucking hate that, as someone who's bisexual and honestly prefers dating women over men it just makes me so upset that they think that way even if I wasn't bi it's still fucked up to even have that mentality
As someone who lives in the south and sees homophobia normalized everyday, I understand your anger. It's hard to persevere with negativity challenging you in the form of your parents, but once you're 18 you can make it out and live as you like.
