I think it's just another obsession like the astrology signs that are fun to know about but making your whole personality about it or thinking that a person has to have a specific trait cuz they ar...... reply
The same way I feel about mbti is the same way I feel about Zodiac signs. They're really cool to learn about and to see if your personality actually lines up with what you get (I'm a Pisces and infp which fits me scarily well) but its when people use them to dictate their lives and relationships that makes it weird. Like, I'll never understand mfs ...... reply
Mbti is just a general way to sort a bunch of people into a drawer. More accurate would be the other variant of mbti, but even that has the same principal as the 16 personality one. Every person is different just like there's no same fingerprint. Mbti ist like... finding someone with certain personality traits that match yours and then matching tho...... reply
