Jaxx apology(?

To readers,
I humbly accept the criticism that several scenes in Episode 1 contained disrespectful depictions of other cultures and people. Even if the direction and themes of the story differ from what you may be concerned about, I have decided not to launch the work, as the fundamental limitations of this project‘s premise are clear. I believe this situation has revealed my complacent attitude toward human rights sensitivity when handling a specific era and setting, and that my storytelling lacked sufficient care and nuance. I am deeply ashamed. In my eagerness to focus on the characters, I failed to fully recognize that I was replicating problematic historical contexts and representational tropes found in past works. I also deeply resonate with the criticism that the characterization in question was not something to be treated lightly within a genre like BL. What I had told myself was passion for the stories, I now recognize as arrogance. I was not as prepared or as careful as this story required me to be.
I apologize for any displeasure caused to you, and I will carry this reflection with me as I continue.
I'm not even mad at the author anymore, they recognized their mistakes and took in thr backlash they got and decided not to continue the manwha.. But the fans on the other hand are going absolutely ballistic?! Don't you know how quick people canceled 'Get Schooled' because they called a black person a N word in that one chapter? Everybody still hat...... 2 reply
I appreciate this. They actually took in feedback and acknowledged their mistake instead of continuing the manhwa and making it worse. A lot of authors and artists don't do this. If only this would stop the discourse too as the author is themselves admitting their writing was disrespectful.. and people are STILL defending them, seriously why? oh so...... 1 reply
Now the same sentiment for r@pe glorification in every other BL. Queer representation in fiction is also political btw. And yes Ik abusive relationships exist but we all know that ain't the real purpose :)) 2 reply
Its funny how people are calling this manga racism, even tho is a history one, while in the same time they do like zhenya from the manga codename anastasia, even tho he is rapist, but since he is handsome so of course it will be acceptable. People nowadays are too sensitive and stupid and some are saying because the author is white person who write...... 2 reply
Holy shit, i just found out about this manhwa thanks to this, and i didn't realize how BAD the story is, thank fuck I didn't read it, im so glad some people warned me that the story was gonna be ur usual "great art style with slop story" bullshit cuz im already dealing with racism in my own goddamn country, please do NOT add in my yaoi too... Good ...... reply
Why are people acting like they haven't seen a slave story before I kinda feel bad for her tbh and it's not like she's making the manhwa in the modern settings it's in the past but this is just my opinion reply
