when we give platforms to bigots
i feel like when we give platforms to authors who draw rape, incest, racism and other morally and legally wrong things, it influences people and encourages them to further learn such thing is normal... especially that a lot of people here are young.
thats why i'm tired of voicing my opinions when it comes to authors and people whose bigotry aligns, because they will never listen.
i know this a gooner site, but should we normalized having to see authors being bigots making ignorant shit about real world situations? report report report so that it's never normalized!

Aside from racism, Rape and incest are kinks... Now you're just kink shaming. No one actually supports illegal activities irl, get that into your head. People that do support that will support it regardless whether these stories exist or not.

I think it really depends on the story, if it's a psychological thriller story that delves into the emotions and minds of the characters then it should be fine. The problem is that when authors downplay such themes or like tag them as bl/yaoi/romace. Tbh, the readers are also the problem.
