hello! i love this site deeply and have been using it for many years now. i'm just curious, can anyone who's been here for a LONG time (and i mean many MANY years) tell me the story of mangago? i know the site name was copyrighted (?) in 2010 and it first went live in 2011 (the first uploads are dated january 2011). but how is it that you can't interact with accounts created before 2014? it's like they never existed. and also, does anyone know anything about the mangago account aka the first ever profile created? and why we can't see that page? (the link to it: https://www.mangago.me/home/people/1/ ) i'm just super curious about how mangago was like in the early-mid 2010s (also, fun fact: this is the first ever topic apparently https://www.mangago.me/home/mangatopic/2/ )
I used this since 2012, I remember back then either it was accounts wasn't a thing or it was optional (you could post and interact without an account); a lot of the account names you see were just anonymous comments (you could set your name to whatever you wanted when you posted the comment/topic) so maybe either the accounts were archived or the a...... 2 reply
was curious about the earliest accounts, so I checked whether the ID numbering was actually chronological. checked my neighbouring IDs and all are from the same day as me, so yes you are correct. but there's a slight mistake, the ID are set for 7 digits so the first acc ID would be 0000001, but that still didn't lead anywhere. checked again all the...... 2 reply
