As the others who have commented, I don't think you need to worry about age. I know people approaching 40 who still loves ghibli movies just as much as they did in their youth. Now they watch anime with their kids. My uncle games and watches anime. He's in his 60s now. Your tastes may change in the future, sure, that's fine. As you experience more ......   reply

No. (that was the end of my comment, but i will elaborate a little) Anime is just a form of art like any other tv show: it has different genres and different target audience (including age). So, if you love anime, you probably won't stop watching it when you are older (I'm 33 and I still watch anime)   reply

No you can never be too old for anime. honestly you can never be too old for fandom in general either. are we all expected to hit 30 and exclusively watch grey's anatomy?? I'm pretty sure i'll be like 80 reading some fanfic and manga in my nursing home.   reply

Theres a guy that used to have a youtube channel and every video he would talk about different animes and even after he stopped uploading he still watched anime. He was like in his 80's at the time and he stopped uploading in like 2008? I cant remember this was something I saw from a video talking abt content creators that disappeared. These replies are giving me so much life, I'm only 21 but I can't imagine myself ever letting go of my love for reading manga and watching anime. I don't think it's a matter of being 'too old' for something. Rather, I think it's that different things interest us at different times in our lives according to when we're open to receiving them. This has been the case for me with the stories I read, the media I consume, and the things I learn. So to answer your question, no, you can't be 'too old......   reply
