Hello everybody my name is Harkiplier and I am back once again to ramble about a spooky movie I watched for the Summerween month, this one was also recommended to me specifically by my glorious king.
This is the list in question, compiled by my beautiful gorgeous omega femalehusband king, be sure to check it out if you want to:
https://www.mangago.me/thing/about/936204/Anyway the movie in question today is Possession, an older movie from the 1980s, a blast from the past if you will. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how pretty the poster is though?

OK moment over let's get to the review: I genuinely have no idea what this movie was even about. The atmosphere and the cinematography and the VFX were great but the story was kinda confusing and sorta pretentiously faux-deep with a tragic (I guess) ending which was also shit ngl. Dialogue was also kinda hard to follow or maybe I'm just stupid. Also I watched this movie with only like 4h of sleep and a massive headache so that might be why I didn't get/like it as much. Bonus points for (kinda, sorta, a bit) featuring a gay couple especially for a movie from the 80s. Anyway it wasn't that scary but it was creepy, I'd rate it like 2/5
.
Oh also quick PSA, I'll be skipping day 6/watching & reviewing "The Silence of the Lambs" because I've already seen that movie before and have no wish to re-watch it because I didn't like it (it's like a 2/5
movie for me, loved Jodie Foster's & Anthony Hopkins' acting but the movie itself was blah and boring and not scary at all). Next review is scheduled for day 7.
Hope you enjoyed this review, if you even read this far, remember to like and share and rate 5 stars this review thank you Harharharpieplier out.

Okay but is it crazy that like two years ago when I was going through like a really bad lesbian break up this was a comfort movie for me? Like I would start crying cause I related to the wife in like a poetic sense. I'm older and doing like far better now of course lol.(⊙…⊙ )
Aww I'm sorry to hear that, I'm glad this movie managed to be a source of comfort for you during that difficult time though.
Speaking of posters i genuinely wish more hand drawn poster were created nowadays i think we are thankfully getting some new cool movie posters after the marvel trend of floating heads took over
Me too, posters these days just don't hit the same. I genuinely can't remember any newer ones I saw that made me interested in the movie it advertises lol.
Markiplier, Darkiplier, Barkiplier, Harkiplier...what's next?
I am actually running out of the puns damn, I don't think I'll be able to do that for the whole month.
