like no matter the genre it's almost always two (or more) characters really close together like i'm TIRED. CAN WE PLS PLS PLS think outside the box because why does my entire reading list look the exact same. i can't think of a single cover that i ACTUALLY like apart from maybe litc
Right? Like they look clones of each other. I know one way to check if the story is worth reading is by seeing if the uke is getting groped on the cover which means it's most likely sex slop. If they are romantic on the cover and not sexual, it means there's romantic melodrama. If they aren't touching or very close to each other, it's enemy to love...... reply
When the character is tied up on the cover, you know 90% of the series is just gonna be sex scenes and 50% chance of the time, it's a blackmail or sex contract series. reply

well since it's romance they need to convey closeness, ig that's one of the reason. I think HOW they're pressed against one another is the more important thing since it's usually tell us their dynamic/chemistry so I don't really mind it.
