We need to discuss ABO

So, I first got subjected to ABO dynamics by my friend around 3 years ago. Honestly, at first, I wasn't interested, not because of anything, but it felt too complicated and I was too lazy back then. As time passed, I started picking up a few omegaverse manhwas here and there. And I noticed something that I found rather weird, which provokes the question: Why the hell are most omegaverse media like that?! And by "that" I mean, normalising rape and misogyny culture. Man, I swear to god every omegaverse I've read has the following setup: A poor omega in debt, that was inherited to him by his dad, and an alpha who's literally a man whore who can't keep it in his pants just because of a lame ass excuse called "pheromones". And if it's not that, the manhwa starts off with a cutesy little setup where everyone loves everyone and then, BAM, the alpha does something which shows how major of a red flag he is and no one bats a fucking eye, just beacuse it's in his obsessive nature. Until recently, I never understood why this happened, until I got hit by reality, omegaverse is literally a roundabout way to talk about what women have to face every single day, just because they're little, weak "omegas". And what makes me hate this even more, is that most authors are women, like wtf, girlie? I don't care about the amount of hate I may receive after posting this, I just feel like I had to lay this off my chest, because it just pissed me off so much. And that doesn't mean I hate omegaverse, I'm a huge fan, but I just need something more, how should I put it, respectful for omegas, because they're humans, too. That doesn't mean I want something with only rainbows and sunshine, I just want something realistic and respectful to our fellow omegas.
