Summerween Day 8: Midsommar

Hello everybody my name is Parkiplier and today we're here to review a movie from the Summerween list that was popular like a few years ago that I've actually never seen before mostly because I hate horror movies and also because I hate mainstream movies.

And this movie really lives up to the "mid" part of it's name.

All my life I've been under the false impression that I don't watch horror movies because I am a coward and bad with them, which IS true, but is actually NOT the reason why I avoid horrors. The REAL reason I rarely watch them is actually... because... they're so fucking BORING. This movie was BORING, a few of the others I've reviewed were also BORING and I can bet my left tit the next ones I'll watch will also be BORING as Hell. Literally NOTHING INTERESTING happens in this movie for the whole first HOUR, and then when it does start getting interesting it's DRAGGED OUT AS FUCK. Like why was this movie almost two and a half hours long?! And also trigger warning for a scene where this one dude gets drugged and has sex with like an implied minor girl, big bruh monent. So yeah this movie was painfully boring omg. And I'll probably ruffle some jimmies by saying that because people really like this movie but holy damn did I think it was boring. I did like the cinematography, the disturbing atmosphere and the OST but everything else was just such a snoozefest. Anyway I'd give it like a 2/5, it wasn't scary btw.
