did getting diagnosed and medicated help any adhd individuals here?
im thinking bout going to the psychiatrist. i feel like it's getting too hard for me to focus on my studies. its greatly hampering my academic life which is making me frustrated. i was thinking bout getting treated.
im gonna go to my own college hospital which is also a govt one. im not sure if they will take me srsly or they be able to help me. im afraid i might just get scolded there. is it worth the risk?
I don't have adhd but my spouse does and he recently got a formal diagnosis. It was really validating for him to have the tests done that prove it and to what degree. I think it's worth going but it might be better to frame it as you suspect you have it and you'd like to get a formal diagnosis and explore options on how to manage it. reply
