Series you had to drop because it was getting too weird/ heading the wrong direction?
I dropped a newish series on webtoon because it's abundant fanservice in the first few chapters was reminiscent of Fire Force. It was giving some red flags.

Siren’s Song got so icky when the uke started being drawn like a literal child. The difference from the first chapter to the end was crazy. Just ewww. And the plot was way too convoluted and just bad. This author’s next story, Guiding Light, was equally convoluted and bad. I couldn’t make it through that one either. reply

The edge of ambiguity. Personally, I feel bad that I feel so much hate for this because I was there for the first few chapters of the story and was so excited for what the future of the story was gonna be, and before all of the grape and encagement stuff, there was SO MANY possibilities for the story. Missing Love: The Marrying Man is the only manhwa I ever dropped because I could not emotionally take what torture was happening to the uke main character. Honestly it was so nasty, heartbreaking and emotional it wrecked me. Still trying to get up the nerve to finish it off...ugh. The art is stunning! 2 reply
