Summerween Day 10: Eyes Without a Face

Hello everybody my name is Murkyplier and it's another day, another review of a horror movie chosen for the Summerween list.

Today's movie is a French black&white movie from the 1960s, Eyes Without a Face.

It's not the first movie shot in black&white I've seen but it has been a while since I've watched one of those so I was excited for it. Ermmm, it was okay, it wasn't anything special if I'm being honest. It wasn’t boring and pretentious like "Possession" but it definitely wasn't as interesting and great as "Get Out," it was just a totally meh movie. If you like artsy movies maybe you'd appreciate this one though. It also wasn't scary at all, the face transplant surgery scene made me feel a bit queasy though. Anyway I'd rate it like a 3/5.

Oh also quick PSA, I'll be skipping days 11, 12 & 13/watching & reviewing "The Exorcist" (it's too fucking scary for my cowardly self), "Eraserhead" (the site I use doesn't have it + my mum told me she watched this and it was shit so I'll trust her judgement) and "Repulsion" (I am NOT watching any movie directed by that disgusting mf Roman Polanski). Next review is scheduled for day 14.
