Feelings about people who like you larping medias you like
Anyone else feel kinda uncomfortable when people do this? Like they're suddenly sooo into the medias you value out of nowhere and will show it off at random?
Bit of backstory, I had this guy who's liked me for yrs, at some point he even stalked me home, waited for me in the streets etc, basically it was bad and I was traumatized af but I was young, dumb and honestly still am very patient with people so I forgave him and left him as a friend (kinda) , I've also rejected him 2x and never have him room for any wrong ideas bc I don't chat or hang with him alone. Anyways it's been a problem for me since way before bc he'd constantly start partaking in stuff I'm interested in that I value LOTS (Im one of those ppl who just can't stand it when others pretend they like something when in reality they're just doing it for attention esp something I love) fandoms, communities, etc. idk. Need some opinions rn, possibly other experiences or just something to ground me in general.

That's really creepy, please report the stalking to parents or any trusted adult around. Seems like he is obsessed with you, and is trying to find ways to talk to you, join you in stuff by imitating your interests and making it seems like a shared topic. While that in itself may not be harmful - lots of people discover things new communities, inter...... reply
I don't think whatever you just said counts as just larping someone's favorite media that's literally stalking and it's concerning, please be careful that person is really creepy. Sometimes people "larp" or just read about stuff a little to get the attention of someone they like just to get to know them more but this is not just that, the said pers...... reply
Block them, if they make alts. Private your stuff for awhile, maybe a month at best if you're some kind of public figure. Your uncomfortable is totally valid here cause that's stalking and practically Harassment. Specially since you explained you rejected them beforehand and kinda any sane person who isn't obsessed would back off after a while. reply
