Top of the mornin' to ya, laddies (TN: hello everybody) my name is Jackseptiplier and welcome back to another stupid ass review of a horror movie from the Summerween list, let's get right into da fun.
This is the list in question, compiled by my beautiful gorgeous omega female(ex-)husband king, be sure to check it out if you want to:
https://www.mangago.me/thing/about/936204/And today we got a movie that I actually didn't watch even though it was like the talk of the Internet last year, like everyone was talking about it and stuff but I didn't watch it because I don't like conforming to society and following trends and what's hip and popular heh.. nothing personnel, I am just so #niche like that.

Anyway if you saw my Day 2 review of "The Backrooms," you might remember me saying I skipped Day 1/watching and reviewing "Nosferatu" because I think media featuring them are boring and I hate vampires (unless it's lesbian vampires
) and that I'd be skipping every movie on the list involving vampires, which turned out to be stupid of me to say because this is literally the only other vampire movie featured on the list (#embarassing) and ngl I was actually thinking of skipping this movie too, but then.. I remembered something important.. ladies and gentlemen, did you know that this movie features the FIRST EVER BACHIBRO WHO WON AN OSCAR??

(Yes, this is in fact a real screenshot, posted by the real Michael B. Jordan to his real Instagram account.)
I just knew I had to show my support to this movie and the bachibro who was a part of it. Have you guys read Kagurabachi by the way? It's peak fiction do give it a try sometime.
OK shilling aside, let's get into the review finally: to be honest I feel a bit bad that I haven't watched this sooner, because this was a really great movie. I loved the cinematography and the OST was great, the atmosphere was nice too. The movie reminds me a bit of another vampire-related film from 1996 called "From Dusk Till Dawn," which is one of my mum's favourite movies btw (#funfact
). The little animation thing at the start was cute too. I also liked the acting in this, I don't think I've disliked any of the characters (except one but I disliked the character himself not the way the actor played him iykwim) at all and everyone did a great job. The only nitpicks I have are: the sex scenes were uncomfortable to watch and unnecessary imo, I wanted to see more of the Choctaw hunters I think they were a bit wasted, my favourite character died smh and for being a horror movie it wasn't particularly scary. Like uhh.. at all. But that also might be for the best since I'm bad at stomaching horror ngl. Also am I the only one who thought the main villain was kinda stupid. Like what he wanted to do and his plans to achieve it and the character himself was just schewpid to me idk maybe I'm just being a dick for no reason. But I didn't like him, I felt like he was just there ya know? Didn't have much of a presence and wasn't really interesting imo. I did think that scene where he killed those two "Song of the Wasteland" fans was cool though, that was like his best scene in the movie lmao. Anyway holy yap let's just wrap this up; I'd rate this movie a 5/5
, it really is a great movie and I'd recommend all 3 of you who haven't watched this yet to give it a try. Don't mind the 2h runtime, it's a really interesting movie and you won't feel bored during it.
Oh also quick PSA, I'll be skipping day 24/watching & reviewing "Perfect Blue" because I already watched that movie years ago and... I'mma get hated for saying this probably but whatever idc... I didn't understand shit. Like it wasn't a bad movie, it was enjoyable and I did like it but I am media illiterate and stupid so I didn't get it at all.. anyway I'd rate it like 3/5
, it's pretty good.
Hope you enjoyed this review, if you even read this far, remember to like and share and rate 5 stars this review thank you Vampireplier out.

I actually haven't seen this movie yet, but if you like it, I might give it a try sometime
It's pretty good, I was a bit on the fence about it because usually when people overhype something it ends up being boring or crap imo, but I think this movie actually deserves the hype it got ngl. Although if you don't end up liking it that's fine too.
