I agree with this TikTok post. Cause why would the author do that?? I'm gonna admit that I didn't read this series FULLY to make this judgement but I will still say it's weird on how many fans ship these father and son
That's "it's okay" Because they're "not Biogically related" Or "the kid grew up" (Here are pics for their takes)
But that isn't like okay? Kinda weird for the author to make the kid have some kind feelings for the man that essentially adopted him, like just cus the younger person likes him doesn't make it automatically okay?? Cause that guy still raised him! It's essentially his father! So yes, it's weird af for the author to do that. Even if it's goddamned unrequited, the problem isn't the characters but what the duck is the author doing making these two people a thing.
I'm gonna lie? I'm very confused with this series because
In one hand translater said it's not romance between this two, and author used to be a BL artist that it's like that, and they do lead in the the adopted family trope
On the other hand the adult kid version has a very weird relationship with his step-dad??
But the bright side is the henchman has slow romance together (minus the white hair glasses guy of course) if not implied

I wonder what the hell goes through mind of these type of authors
