how to end conversations

I just ask some random question that makes no sense like “ What’s ur favorite color, Mickey Mouse or Paw patrol?” And then, I just say “ahaha me too, wow would you look at the time I need to go water my dog” then I just leave it there with no other questions asked.   1 reply

On the text, I either like the message (as in on Instagram) or ignore it. If my convos end with haha or smth along these lines, or even when I want it to end, I reply to the original convo and then send a meme. Usually people react to the meme and then I can ignore them peacefully lol. As for face-to-face thing, I'm usually like "ight.i gotta go. ......   reply

i usually just say this ; alright, sorry if i’m taking too much of your time/sorry if i’m bothering you/thank you for talking to me, goodbyee or i’m so sorry, i have to deal with something important/i’m sorry, i have something to do.. thank you for your time and goodbye :) it’s more respectful and makes it look more formal   1 reply

It sounds like you're just pressured into saying goodbye at the right time. If your really close then just be like, okay I'll ttyl. Or say you're gonna watch some yt, play some games. Over text I would end with an "lmao" And never open the chat. Over phone I would make up an excuse like "my mom is calling me" Or "I need to take shower" Or something like that   reply
