Hello everybody so a few days ago I posted this question onto this website (idk if you guys could see it since idk how to post it into this but it’s somewhere here but up to you to find the question) and I was like mixed up about it, but today I arrived in Arizona and it started raining and I was like “if a lightning bolt strikes in front of me I will block and cut off my best friend of four years” and after a while I saw a lightning bolt hit in front of my eyes. And after that I said “ok that’s a sign” so I pulled out my phone. I blocked her from messages and cut her off from every app that I’m friends with her, and I left some group chats that she was in and then I told people that “am not gonna be in the group chat anymore and I’m not friends with her anymore and I’m gonna go do my own stuff and it’s your choice if you wanna kick her out or keep her in the group” since I had the idea of kicking her out but after I stepped down I gave them the role, sooooo I feel better now. what’s your opinion on this like what are your perspectives on it?
Honestly you don't need to ask other people or the universe for advice/sign since at the end of the day it was your own free will to cut her off for your own sake. But then you should've not told other people that it's their choice to cut her off or keep her just because you went no contact with them, it feels awkward to say especially if you have a mutual friends since that would make them have the mindset of choosing a side(cut off or keep being friends) whenever there's a conflict in the group. If the conflict is something between just you two, then keep it personal. Ofc, this is just my two-cents.
This answer caught my attention for a reason and let me fill you in with extra details i left so it wouldent be a rant, So everybody in the friend group was mad at her because she broke up with a friend in the friend group (like dating within the group idk if it makes sense so sorry if it tickles your brain or confused) so I/ everybody in the friend group was pissed off at her for it like she knows her religion dosent accept it but still does it so I specifically was mad at her for breaking my friends heart and acted like it was normal so we were mad about it. And the reason why i told them if they wanted to be friends with her and keep her in the group or kick her out is because the way she treated us like we made 35 reason why she should kick her out of the gc but after she texted me privately and told me that she started getting therapy and in my pov it showed that she was getting better so we made a deal to wait until winter break to see if she changed and if she did then we don’t kick her out but if she dosent or makes it worse earlier then off with the boot so I just said am not talking to her anymore Another side note is that it’s the groups decision to keep talking with her even tho I left so that’s that, and I let them choose to do what they want since i made the idea of kicking her out but I needed everybody opinion on it and when I got the validation it was settled but after she played with my feelings I told them if they wanted to go with the plan or not since am not involved with them anymore so they choose not me ( sorry for this whole ass paragraph)
.........God works in mysterious ways. I know you want to be a friend, but this is so important, to put your mental health first and foremost. The way she played with your feelings on a matter as serious as DE^TH is sickening. I am proud of you. Keep your head up and stay smilin' :))

i think it was amazing to get that sign. i’m glad you were mature about the situation and removed yourself. i know this may have been hard since you said she was you’re best friend but now your able to live stress free and not feel hurt for trying to help someone you genuinely cared about!
Yess like honestly the weight of the world just disappeared when I did everything so luckily am stress free for a bit since school starts in a few days and I have to see her but that’s how life is it may be awkward but it’s for the best
Ik like we both know too much about eachother so am just seeing if she blackmails me or tries to report me but I highly doubt she will since if I shut up about her secrets then she will too but let’s see also thank you for the support
