Idk if it's bc I've reading on this website for 5 years but at this point everything is the same; plot, predictability, characters and story. I think the only reason some of them are actually good is because of the story building. Also, most of the bl never changed and always involved rape while people calls it "toxic yaoi". It's such a hard read while mlm is getting much more fetishized while the "bl readers/fujoshis" is literally homophobic towards gl/yuri. Plus the fact that kids have a lot more unrestricted access nowadays and read these bullshit rape bl while defending the issues with their might because they haven't matured enough to see how wrong it is. I ain't gonna lie, I was 11 years old myself when I first got on this website but I fear the users nowadays is genuinely some hypocrite buns and it's so obvious if they're kids or not. So cooked.

I mean it is normal but it's shouldn't be normalize when most of their bl plot involved rape since it's so desensitizing plus they've never actually do an in-depth psychological trauma the victims experienced and instead made them fall in love with their abuser while never acknowledging the rape happened or as if it's just a fleeting thing in the past when it was like a week or days ago
yeah i've been reading bl for a while now and a lot of them are the same plotlines. you really have to dig deep for the good stuff though and I do still come across gems that get me excited again. i find a lot of good shounen ai bls can be quite entertaining probably because they aren't banging every other chapter.
