Any engineering students here? I'm an ece student and I wanna ask what's the best model to choose between Canon F-789SGA and Casio fx-991ES Plus. Based on my research, Casio is much faster when it comes to performance, while canon excels when it comes to function. Both are great and prc approved though, but I really need a calculator that would last me for 4 years. Please helppp
Just get the NumWorks, it does everything. Yes it is more expensive but I’ve had mine for like 7 years. (If you can have graphic calculators)
If not, get the Canon. As an electronic student it’ll be better. Feel like the Casio is for high school, not higher. reply
I’ve had my Casio calculator for ages (5y+) but it’s a different model to yours. I think the main thing is ensuring it has imaginary numbers. At least that’s what it was for me. Good luck choosing! 1 reply
