Hi everyone! I am back again with yapping about stuff since my ankle's broken
Today was a pretty productive day all things considered! I did quite a lot today! I crocheted a bunny, a cat, and a tote bag made from recycled shirts! I also did some handwriting practice!

But today, i randomly remembered a fact that I had learned a few years ago, it's about vestigial organs!
So I think almost everyone knows that quite a few mammals have a translucent nictating membrane that covers their eyes to protects them while still having some vision. Well, fun fact humans also have it! It's at the inner corners of your eyes and it's called the "plicasemilunaris" ! But now it is a vestigial organ, that is, it lost it's original purpose due to evolution, a bummer honestly

In addition to that, there are many other such vestigial organs, like wisdom teeth, appendix, coccyx (tail bone), arrector pilli (goosebumps) etc!
But in recent evolutionary history, the "palmaris longus" ,which is a long, slender muscle located in the superficial compartment of the forearm, with non-necessary, vestigial functions is slowly being eradicated! Roughly 10% to 25% of the population is born completely without this muscle in one or both arms! You can try to find out if you have it or not! Touch your thumb to your ring finger and slowly flex forward. If a tendon appears, you have the palmaris longus, if not, you're one rare human :))
This hand right here is mine!

Try it and let me know!
Thank you for listening to me and i hope you learned something new!
Tomorrow I'll post my acrylic paintings!

............what exactly do you need to practice with your cursive ??
Your capitols are stunning, but lets put your lower-case 'p' on a pedestal for a moment
P.S. you crocheted emotions for that bunny too didn't you, just look into those eyes o_0
Thank you so much :)) I just like to write at least one page everyday to keep my handwriting always pristine and keep improving (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ oh and I know right? The bunny is soooooo adorable
this hand writing belongs in a museum
Dawwww thanks my love
Your hand writing scares me dear how are you so professional
I had a huge fear of bad handwriting since I was young so I worked hard to learn calligraphy and incidentally now I am a handwriting "chameleon" because I can copy ANYONE'S handwriting almost to a tea it has it's benefits for sure ;)
