Dumb situationship

Lowkey, I had kind of a situationship when I first entered uni . This guy obviously liked me and would always offer to help me with my uni work and stuff. He was a second year, btw. We would sometimes talk over text, and he would flirt with me and say pretty romantic things.

One day, he was like, “I wanna help you study,” so I said okay and we met up at uni. We were supposed to study, but the whole time we were literally just talking . We ended up talking for a good two hours, and eventually we both had to leave because we had exams.
A few days later, I texted him, and I’m pretty sure he fucking ghosted me. It’s been like 8 or 9 months since then, but the weird thing is that after he ghosted me, he would STILL stare at me whenever he saw me. He would even randomly come to my lecture halls sometimes, which was just so fucking weird considering he was the one who ghosted me .

And I might be delusional, but I swear his friends would always stare at me too. Like, whenever I passed them, they would look at me, and sometimes I’d catch them staring from far away. I genuinely have no idea why.

That’s what makes it so weird to me because HE was the one who was down bad, HE was the one who pursued me, and then HE was the one who ghosted me… yet he was still staring at me afterwards?? Like bro, what happened??
