JUST A RANT

Genuinely and honestly, I'm just so confused.
I met someone not long ago online, they messaged me first and we started to share things about what we had in common and it was great, we totally got along well.
They matched my vibe and I matched theirs, we started watching movies together online and they called when they have problems I'd be more than happy to listen and give them advice. Truly the best online friend you could ask for.

But then suddenly one day, their replys started to get a bit dry, and it got less frequent that it made me feel like I was bothering them whenever I try to send a message first. What used to be a very engaging talk felt like a small talk with a stranger. I tried asking, about how did your day go?! And they would reply with a "good"
Like what could be the possible reason of this behavior?? Are they tired of being friends with me or something? It's just all going so fast I genuinely don't know if the interest that they showed me before was real. Now I just stopped texting them and they did not try and text me too so I think that they really don't want to converse with me anymore.

I used to have online friends like this a long time ago (like 4 yrs ago?) and trust me, most turn out like this, around 90 percent of online friends don't work out, and thats okay babe! Most of the time they have their own lives and forget about their online persona

Did you know if theyre going through sometimes in their life or if they started school? My friend used to get her phone confiscated during school time (if you're both minors still), so maybe that's why... i wouldn't suggest you overthink it too much because your thoughts might affect your health / perception of things, did they appear active while you were trying to text them?

We are already adults (early twenties) and yes sometimes they I only text them when they're online because I don't want to bother them. But there's this feeling you know when they've completely changed their vibe around you, idk it makes me feel uneasy about it, I've decided to just wait until they message but I could honestly be overthinking it all or something.
