Ok so I’m just kinda using this a public diary since no one knows who I am and I’m anonymous, kinda like Reddit just weirder community. I’m just having some growing pains with adulthood and transitions from teen to adult. I just turned 18 when I started college and officially set out on my own and it’s been really difficult. I made a dumb mistake and got a reality check from my professor, (who’s the head dp of my major )luckily it didn’t affect my grade but I just feel so embarrassed and immature. Luckily I’m barely maintaining A’s so I’m maintaining my scholarship but my god I’m overwhelmed. Gas is expensive and I’m working 30 hours a week while doing classes. I’m kinda on my own and I feel out of my depth. I don’t have my old support system of friends since I had mostly junior friends my senior year since my class was full of ghetto party animals and conservatives. I haven’t really been able to talk to friends, and the one good friend I have in college can’t ever hang out because he’s super busy since he’s a senior. I just feel super alone and I’m considering getting a therapist at the college or smth. Idk why I was even concerned about dating. Exams are so much more important. I don’t really need advice I kinda just needed to vent to the 3 random people who will read this. I just feel so immature, and I still feel like I’m acting like a teen sometimes. If anyone actually bothers to read this and your like an older wiser person. How can I just mature faster so I don’t make mistakes and deal with stress better? I can’t really ask my parents because….wellll……that’s another story. Lol, Mexican parents. Ifykyk
