Either way, I heavily suggest sneaking off and asking a police officer for help and alternatives CPS might not even do much tbh (in terms of taking you away). But they ARE helpful in showing your shitty abusers that eyes are on them and trouble can head their way.

mmm idk i have siblings who're younger than me so i'm kinda taking into consideration they won't have a choice in the matter
Did you yourself chop it unevenly in weird ways so this was the only presentable option?? Then they might be right. If not and this was as punishment for whatever they didn't like: This falls under child abuse and physical assault in some places even. And you can and should report them to police so they suffer consequences.
Calling CPS or the cops as well as telling your teachers is an option. That way you may have 'shields' so their abuse stops and people to support you.
