Live Action Adaptations
Since the live action of Sign was recently announced i feel like i need to get it off my chest. Why are BL adaptions- scratch that- any manhwa to live adaptation so ASS. Now im not the type to watch liev actions because i really hate castings (more on that later) so i cant say that much bad stuff. But i watched the “My 19th Life” or whatever the name is Kdrama and they changed so much it almost felt like an entirely new story. The payback adaptation was pretty bad too, and while i didn't watch it, my friend did and she said she had to drop it a few episodes in. The casting for these live actions are also so bad it makes me wonder if they even look at the story to see who the character were. Fuck they didn't even need to look at the story just look at the cover!
No offense to the actors, but the cast for sign sucks ass. Yoohan is supposed to be a broad shoulders big man, why do he look so twinky? And dont get me started on the glasses that look bought off an american girl doll accessory store. Soohwa isnt even a twink AND HIS HAIR IS THE WEONG COLOR. I dont even know how they are going to go about the story because they have sex almost every songle chapter and they cant cut off the sex because it was crucial to their relationship. As much as i love more content for these stories, live actions are NOTTTTT it. But maybe thats just me. How do you feel about live action adaptations.
U guys are being really weird about very much real people appearances. Especially when to my knowledge none of these actors have done anything wrong if anything they're being brave as hell to take gay roles in conservative ass Korea. Quandaledingle relax with the obsessive use of the word “twink” for like 4 seconds unless your a gay guy who classifies himself as a twink.

I hate live actions sometimes because it's like most scenes aren't accurate to the pages sometimes but I do understand they cant put like 200 pages worth of scenes in one episode but the characters also act different in the show and have no personalities sometimes reply
its not that deep and also you dont have to watch it bro and how can you expect a queer show to have top tier castings especially in a country where gay marriage isnt even leglised like theres obviously not many choices or actors willing to play the role. and probably not any big muscular men are willing to do it either. just be grateful that there...... reply
