my main discord acc is older but it got flagged as teen, while my 2nd is only 2 yo but it's labeled as adult.
how do discord age verification even work bro they say it's based on pattern but what pattern are they talking about? if they're using our chat as the pattern then it's stupid af. my chat history is mostly sfw in both account but the friends I have are much more freakier in my 2nd and sometimes send porn while my main is for family and irl friends. this is the only difference I noticed between the two cuz I rarely go into a 18+ server in both accounts.
if this is how they categorized users age it's USELESS how would this protect children in any way
In terms of how they “recognize” someone’s age, they claim they don’t scan messages, photos or voice texts. Who really knows though. :/
Supposedly, they estimate based off a handful of things, such as joined community servers, game activity and your general period of activity.
