Auntie's First Love (?)
alright, let me tell y'all a simple story about the first love of this auntie.
I first fell in love during middle school. I was in Grade 8 at that time, so I was quite naive, especially because of my very shut-in personality. During that year, I had a crush on this guy. Let's call him "Tim."
Tim was the kind of guy you could only dream of being close to. He was handsome, moreno, smart, and funny. He was the type of person you could never really ignore. No matter where you looked, somehow, your eyes would always find him.
Now, I actually had to give up my crush on him because my friend, Bella, openly admitted that she had a crush on him too. So, I gave up. Besides, I already knew that I didn't have a chance with him anyway.
Everything changed when we reached Grade 9.
Tim and I became classmates.
Now, here's the thing. During our Teacher's Day celebration, he actually noticed me. And of course, there was me, who couldn't seem to take my eyes off him even though Bella was literally beside me, constantly talking about him.
It was awful of me, honestly.
Then, he added me on all my socials.
Of course, I knew what was happening was wrong, so I decided to ignore it.
Then came my birthday.
He slid into my DMs and said, "Happy birthday!"
Wow.
Honestly, I didn't know what to do. Like, that was my crush right there. But what about Bella? Should I tell her? Would it really hurt that much if I just talked to him?
A lot of "buts" kept pouring into my mind.
But because I was overthinking everything, I just replied, "Thanks," and reacted with a heart to his message.
Then came October 23.
We had to be seated beside each other during a school event. Of course, you can already imagine how awkward that was.
Then, he tried making small talk.
I replied.
And, the conversation just kept going on and on.
To the point that I started leading the conversation. I kept telling him about games, my friends, Bella, our hangouts, and McDo.
I never realized that talking about McDo would become the beginning of everything.
As the event was coming to an end, he suddenly asked me out.
"Hey, I know this is kind of weird, especially since we just talked today hahahah..." He really looked handsome that day. "Would you like to eat at McDo? Since you kept telling me about it. But it's okay if you don't want to... haha, this is kinda cringy."
And boom.
I didn't know what to do anymore.
Have you ever had that feeling of being completely happy and excited, yet somehow guilty at the same time?
That was exactly how I felt.
And I said, "Okay."
I knew I fucked up.Really really fucked up.
alright, that's enough for tonight. let me think first if I would like to continue this storytelling....
